This Flex Welt Penny Loafer from Alden comes on the Copley last with a glove-soft, flexible leather upper.  The flex welt construction consists of a flex insole and oiled flex leather outsole and offers more flexibility for an extremely comfortable out-of-the-box feel. You'll find comfort without compromising durability thanks to both the oil treatment of the leather outsole and the tempered steel shank that is found in every Alden New England shoe. The Copley last creates a softly curved toe shape that slowly drops off to the welt of the shoe.
